The first\u00a0professional theatre company<\/strong>\u00a0in Singapore (and incidentally the\u00a0only Children\u2019s Theatre company<\/em>\u00a0for a long while) was where I first learnt the basics of voice and acting. I\u2019ve since trained and performed as a\u00a0professional actor<\/strong>\u00a0in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, USA, Hungary, France, UK. Because my love affair with performing started in children\u2019s theatre,\u00a0performing for young audiences<\/strong>\u00a0has always held a special place in my heart.<\/p>\n Little Tykes Theatre<\/strong>\u00a0in Paris was my platform for sharing stories with children from\u00a02007 to 2017<\/strong>. We were the only English theatre company in Paris (at that time) who performed with and for very small children from the ages of 0 to 8 years.\u00a0LIttle Tykes\u2019 page<\/a>\u00a0is still on Facebook as a happy reminder of all the Little Tykes who came to play with us.<\/p>\n My voice over journey<\/strong>\u00a0began without me quite noticing. Such is the similarity between the acting world and the voice over world; I first started getting voice over work offers because of my acting skillset. And then I gleamed the rest of my voice over-specific skills and technical knowledge from the wonderful gang at\u00a0Gravy For The Brain<\/a>. Although\u00a0Voiceover Kickstart<\/a>\u00a0was where I first got hooked,\u00a0Edge Studio<\/a>\u00a0added to my expertise, and at\u00a0Larry Hudson\u2019s VO Workouts<\/a>, I continue to hone my craft.
